My sansa fuze will not charge

The Fuze charges through its USB connector. You can plug it into a powered USB port on a computer or a USB charger plugged into a wall outlet. You may already have one of these for your cell phone.

MP3 players charge up by the USB cable that is connected to a computer or by a 5 volt USB mains adapter.

It depends. What's charging it?

If it's connected to a computer's USB port, then no, you can't listen to it.

If it's connected to a USB charger, such as you might find for cell phones, then yes, you can listen to it.

When i plug my Fuze in the pc, it turns on, but doesnt charge, and isnt even recongnized by my pc. So i cant put anything on it and it doesnt even show up in device manager.

charge it

You need a USB cable which you need to connect to your computer. This cable also serves as a charger. You will probably need to load(rip) the music from a CD to your computer into a program called Windows Media Player. Then you will use this program (Windows Media Player) to "sync" your MP3 player to the computer from which you can download music to your MP3 player. [email protected]

use a home charger not the USB charger. It is too weak to recharge the FUZE.

connect the player to PC...the player's drive will be visible in "MY COMPUTER".. just right click that drive and select format option..

For both the iPod and the Fuze you charge the MP3 player by connecting it to your computer's USB port. There are also optional chargers available that you can connect to your car's cigarette lighter or to an AC wall outlet if you want to charge the player and don't have a computer available.
