how to reprogram the outgoing message on an answering machine

i have a northwestern bell phones answering machine . its an older model answer mate 62255 and i want to know how to change the outgoing message

I have an answermate 62255 but mine is labeled Bell. Open
the casette compartment. There is a button labeled ogm. Hold
down until the unit beeps. Record your message and press stop
when finished. It will play your message back. Repeat until you
are satisfied
