Question about Nokia N70 Cellular Phone

No space left on N70phone memory, couldn't store new nos and call log is not working

Could you tell me how to resolve this memory problem on my nokia n70 music edition. It says there is not mem left on the phone memory.I checked the file manager. No files are there in phone memory. I even made sure that message memory was that of memory card. But still it says no memory. Its not recording/logging out/in/missed calls, and i cannot store new numbers .
The video recording is ok, because there is space on card. Is there any specific location i have missed , where there are some files in phone memory.
Or is this a virus. Help

My nokia e63 used to get hangged many times a day. Pls give a proper solution

Usually, the phone gets hang when you have so many data and stuffs stored on your phone memory, this might not properly generating the phone system if less free memory space left.

To fix this problem, here are some guides to do.

* you just need to erase some unused files on your phone memory.

* be sure all multi-media files are stored on memory card or if some applications, games etc is stored on your phone memory, transfer it to memory card so that your phone system saves available free space and to be able to operate other mobile functions and features.

* If the above statement does not work, you need to reset or format your phone, this will erase all files stored on your phone, so if you wish to continue,be sure to back everything before doing this method. If you are ready, just type this keys on your home screen *#7370# (hard reset method) A lock code will be ask and then enter this code 12345 (this is the default code, but if you change it before, enter your desire code. The phone will reboot automatically and after that, it will be on default settings.

I hope this solution will help you....Thanks for visiting Fixya...

The music player of my Nokia 7210 Supernova isn't working because when I try to open it, it always say that "Not Enough Memory" even though I have so much of free space in memory card

Not Enough Memory error suggests that you dont have enough space to load the program into the Memory. Check Phone's Memory (It is about 30 MB total) if there is stuff in Phone's Memory then shift it over to Memory Card and cleanup the space in Phone's Memory.
It will definitely resolve this issue.
If even after wiping stuff from Phone's Memory doesn't work, reset the phone.

I have nokia n73. there is a problem in its use. whenever i use it , it gives the message of memory full and asks me to delete some data. please tell me some solution.

The phone's internal memory and memory card may be running out of space. Try to delete unnecessary files and free some memory space. Go to Menu>Tools>File Manager. Select the folder or file you want to delete and scroll left or right to switch from the phone's internal memory to the memory card.

Format the memory card and the phone's internal memory if the problem is not resolved above. But it will erase all saved data on both memory.

Memory Card Formatting Procedure
  1. Go to MENU > TOOLS > MEMORY.
  2. On the memory card menu press OPTIONS.
  3. Scroll to Format memory card.
  4. Press Select.
  5. Select Yes
  6. Once the formatting is complete, remove the memory card.
Phone Memory Formatting Procedure
  1. On your phone dial *#7370#.
  2. Press Yes then enter your phone lock code. Default code is 12345.
  3. Formatting is complete when the phone restarts. Insert the memory card and format it again.

Unabel to clear phone memory

Messages can only be stored on the internal memory of the phone and not the memory card.  The memory card is only used for media.
The best way to clear out your messages is to have a data cable or a bluetooth transmitter on you computer and install nokia PC Suite from  There is a message management program that will allow you to clean up old messages stored in your cell phone.
If that isn't possible to do, the only other choice you have is to manually delete messages from you phone.
