LG DLE2514w electric dryer has loud thud every turn

Most model dryers are supported at thge rear of the drum with a bearing configuration, but usually the front of the drum is supported by some lining pads or guides. These help hold the rotation of the drum concentric. It sounds like your drum is not spinning concentric. My guess would be that some new guides might need to be installed.

You may also want to check the drum for a crack along the welded seam. The rear of the drum is supported on 2 bearing mounted rollers. The drum in my dryer cracked in the very back where it is supported by the rollers. Each time the crack goes over the roller it would "thump". It was easiest to find by turning the empty drum by hand and watching the rear of the drum, especially the welded seam. We had the drum replaced but it still makes some noise because the new drum was not as round or consentric as it should be. It does work though. Hope this helps somone.
