Simply the video refresh rate is not able to keep up with the rate in which you are scrolling, so it jumps.. check video drivers, failing that not much you can do about it

Computer screen jumps while scrolling up and down

This could be due to incorrect mouse settings. It may also be an issue with smooth scrolling in Windows. You can try both disabling and enabling smooth scrolling to see setting performs better.

Sanyo PLC-XL51 won't turn on with remote. I have been told that you need to hold down two buttons on the remote for several seconds - but which 2 ?

If you go here http://www.projectorcentral.com/pdf/projector_manual_4557.pdf and scroll down to page 3 click on troubleshooting page number I think 65 then scoll to page 66 and remote not working is listed first on that page I beleive your problem will then direct you to page 51 and the button combination you are asking about is listed there and an illistration is even shown.

For my compaq tablet tc4400, the right side of the touch pad has a column of horizontal lines that I believe HP calls the "scoll zone." The problem is for a right hander as myself, whenever my...

Go to control panel -> Mouse -> "Device Settings" tab (has the synaptics logo to the left of it) -> Select your touchpad -> "Settings" -> expand "Scrolling" -> "One-finger Scrolling" -> uncheck "Enable Vertical Scrolling" and also uncheck "Enable horizontal scrolling"

If you don't have "Device settings" in the mouse setting window, then you need to install the drivers from http://www.synaptics.com/support/drivers

Have a Satellite P 305D-S9800; scoll bar will not pull down by mouse or touch pad; as soon as I let go it jumps back to the top please help

The "Touchpad is very sensitive; if you look while scrolling, the "scroll-bar" will turn (Blue), click on the ("scroll-bar"), until it turn "Gray." Note: "You ca use the Pointer Device / Touchpad without using the Scroll-bar, basically anywhere on the screen; ("bottom scroll-pad" = left to right"), and ("right -side edge scroll-pad = up & down").

Hi just done a factory restore but i dont have the correct driver cd.when i know use my scroll down the page its wavy

you will need the graphic driver.
http://uk.ts.fujitsu.com/support/ this is the site you need, in the box where it says "Please enter either the Serial-/Identnumber or the product name:" enter V2010 and then click the button to search.
then on the menu system on the left of the screen click on "Drivers&Downloads", then expand the area for the windows your using (XP for example), after you select your windows you will get to pick areas of drivers for your laptop.
Expand the area for Graphics, then select the newer driver, download, then install.
Hope this helps.

Scrolling problem

It's likely to be a drivers problem rather than a card problem. When for some reason the Microsoft VGA driver gets loaded instead of the proper display driver, all the acceleration functions of the card are disabled. This can lead to the hiccupy scrolling you're referring to.

From control panel, go into display and see if your monitor is on either "(unknown device)" or "VGA compatible display adapter". Both indicate that Windows has forgotten the driver. If this is the case, go to Toshiba's website and redownload the driver for your machine, and that should resolve the problem,

My monitor has a horrible lag

Your monitor should have a reasonable to good refresh rate so I doubt it's at fault. It sounds as if you have another program running in the background which is slowing your computer down. Press the keys CTRL. ALT and DELETE at the same time and have a look to see what's running. Close down any programs you aren't using and see if that fixes things. Another problem could be a shortage of memory. I'd recommend no less than 512 Megabytes or ram with Windows XP. If you could give me more info as to which operating system you're using, how fast is the CPU and how much memory etc it would be easier to diagnose. One last thing, you could have a virus and it's chewing up memory. Do you have an up to date virus checker? If not install AVG. it's completely free and available on the net. While you're at it install a spyhunter program and malware checker. There's some weird rogue nasties crawling all over the net. You could've even installed a nasty along with a freebie program you got off the net. BMW
