Why will my lexmark X5100 all-in-one printer not print out colors it will print black ink just fine it has ink in it, it acts like its printing but only the black parts print out

It is long, but he explains the issue of the color drying up and not printing. Also the contacts in the printer need to be cleaned (by hand), but this did not work for me. If you do not use the color ink, you lose it.
