I have the pearl blackberry, on my bbm its showing that i have unread messages but when i go to click on them theres nothing there.

I rang up today and I fixed my problem, I was told to switch off my phone then take out my battery and sim card. When my phone was back on my bbm was working. I hope this works, as I was dissapointed that mine would not work either. Goodluck !! :)

Did you try to scroll down or scroll up on your messages? Messages are probably arrranged in ascending or descending order. Check it out

This is usually happened when you install high ram memory application such as BBM 5.
The solution for this problem is by uninstalling your BBM 5. Maybe your BBM 5 has a bug in Java Application. That’s why when you check using diagnostic test in option menu find this warning: UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION: JAVA.LANG.ARRAY INDEX OUT OF BOUNDS EXCEPTION.
After uninstalling BBM 5 you can check now is there any problem again. If yes, the last choice is by reinstalling your Blackberry OS.

Use the advanced options in your desktop manager under back-up and restore, then on RHS scroll to BB messenger and click clear, do a back-up and restore once complete and restore BB Messenger

my blackberry pearl would delete my messages when i would get them. i took my phone in and they said to get a memmory card for it. i got one and know it works just fine

Sure, a couple of things:
First- you can use BlackBerrys on Cricket in SOME markets. You will NOT be able to use a BlackBerry in an AWS market where Cricket uses the 1900mhz spectrum- simply because the BlackBerry doesn't have that band.

Second- the phone doesn't have to be "Unlocked". It needs to be "Flashed".

Third- talk, text, MMS, and internet ARE possible.

Fourth- BlackBerry Internet Services such as BBM and PIN messaging will NOT work. Reason is, you need a BIS account- which Cricket does not provide.

To change the home page of the browser complete the following steps:
1) Open the browser.
2) Display the menu, and click Options > Browser Configuration
3) Click the browser to be configured.
4) Change the Start Page option to Home Page.
5) Change the Home Page Address to the web site that should be loaded when the browser is opened.
Note: If the Start Page option is not present, you will be unable to change the home page of that particular browser due to an IT Policy on the BlackBerry smartphone. For more information contact your administrator.

push the blackberry dot button and scroll to delete

Go to message>options>scroll to bottom and you can separate your messages via theme control select and it will allow you to change your message boxes.
