Reset the player and see whether it works. Also make sure the player is fully charged or new batteries are inserted if it is battery operated. Good Luck!

We've had the Tivoli Music System for 3 years. A CD became stuck in the player when I pressed the EJECT button before turning the player on. We tried turning it off and back on, unplugging it for a minute, removing the batteries and unplugging, etc. Nothing worked. I finally turned the player upside down in my lap, then turned on the CD player, and it said LOADING! Progress!!! I turned it right-side up and hit EJECT, and it worked like new. The CD loading mechanism had become bound up and simply needed a different "attitude" adjustment. Don't give up too early in attempting to fix these players on your own.
yes, your firmware is corrupt you will installing the firmware here the link how to fix: www.dhakamobile.com/...mp4.../11002-procedure-how-fix-mp5-loading-problem-frm-software.html
You can't fix it. That means it's dead. It probably happened shortly after you upgraded windows media player. Newer versions of media player do not "get along" with the GoGear. That's what happened to me.
This should help you right here: Detach the player from the PC and turn the unit off. Then slide the power switch towards the power icon and hold the switch. Push the end of a pin-like object (for example, a straightened paper clip) into the reset hole, press gently and remove. Release the power button when the recovery mode appears. Select format (all) and select yes to format the player. After the player has finished formatting, select reboot.
Then retransfer the tracks to the player as doing the format will erase the whole player.
as i thing u have 100% the disc full..!!! :P i have the same model and i saw that when i had it about 7-8GB it was normal but when i puted a lot of other softs and some more music it started slowing down.. so (thats my advise) its better to backup your mp3 and do a reset from the bottom next to the charging inpout..then please install only music and not every program u find on the internet..u have to trust it..!
