Timer getting stuck in two places

I have to manually advance the timer in two differant places. If I don't it will run all night long. Model# FDB700BFC0 Serial# TH72350187 Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Donny

hello donny... try pulling the knob straight out to remove it and then spray the shaft with electrical lubricant found at your local home improvement store...
when you push the control knob back on don't push it to a point that it makes contact with the faceplate of the unit just incase binding had occured
