Multipass F80 I have tried to install the Multipass F80 onto a new computer with the Windows Vista system. It won't work. Is there a download I need to update this CD to work on the new Vista system?

I have a new computer and can't use my MPF-80 because of Vista. Can I delete Vista or should I just go buy an HP ?

I dont have the CD drive and went to download the info but no download info for Vista. How can I get this to work on my new computer?

I cant find a driver so that i can use my multipass f80 with vista. i looked at the suggestion posted, and it wasnt helpful.

I have the same problem. The "fix" didn't help. No driver for Vista on Canon site for F80.

Installing canon mutipass F80 on windows xp

If you are having problem installing canon multipass F80 on windows xp, you are not alone. This is the process:
Power on the printer
Connect the US cable to the computer
Allow windows xp to find new hardware
choose the option that allows you to locate the driver
Point your computer to the location of the downloaded driver
choose windows2000xp
then allow windows to install the driver
After windows has finishing installing the driver, run set up again from the file you downloaded. You will be ok and ready to print.

Is the canon multipass f80 printer compatible with mac operating systems?

My understanding is that the Canon Multipass 80 is not compatible with Mac operating systems, and, also, that Canon does not provide a driver for the Multipass 80 to work on Ubuntu.

Canon f80 multipass New five years ago never

Are you using Windows Vista or Windows 7? If so, the driver download page at Canon does not provide drivers beyond XP. Otherwise, go back to the XP (or earlier versions) driver downlaod site and download the MultiPASS F80 Software User's Guide. That may provide the answer to your problem. Also, if you are using unpopular, proprietary software programs the driver may not recognize the commands. Good Luck!

No Windows 7 driver for a Canon F80

Good idea, Windows 7 is NO good if your equipment is less than a few months old... Pre 2008 stuff just isn't compatible. IMHO Win 7 is OK for brand new stuff, Otherwise I stick to XP... see everything works with XP..or nearly so.

Our new Toshiba laptop will not recognize the Canon multipass F80?

You need to make sure that the Canon Multipass F80 Printer Driver is properly installed on your new laptop. The printer is usually in one of the CD included on the printer package when you bought it. If you happened to lost your Printer Driver Installer, you may download it on this site: http://www.soft32.com/download_176633.html
If you previously installed this on your system, you may try to remove and re-install it once again because there cases that the driver software is already corrupted.

u should beable to go to multipass f 80 on the internet.try going to www.canon.ca/english/softwaredownload,/consumer,,or just go to your browser and type in multipass f80 and look for software downloads..hope that works and helps you out..

Is the canon multipass f60 compatible with windows vista (on an hp laptop)?

Canon does not offer Vista drivers for the MultiPass F60. Vista may have some generic drivers that will work, so don't delete or over-ride them in the system.

The major problem is that the printer only supports USB 1.1 and not USB 2.0
