Re: Blew out a channel

Not familiar with this unit. Some of the sonys have protection circuits, so the protection circuit dies and not the amplifier (these commonly power more than 1 channel). You can probably get any parts and a manual from Sony, but it depends on your skill level with soldering small surface mount parts as to you fixing it yourself. If its new and under warranty, return it, if not, it may be worth replacing it with a new model.

I hook up a amp with red and black wire from the car stereo, then the stereo stopped turning on, why?

You probably blew a fuse. The power wires for a stereo can not handle the current an amp needs. An amp has to get it's power directly off the battery. Get an amp kit that has the power wire, ground wire, turn on lead, and fuse w/fuse holder. fuse the power no less than 12" from the battery.

I am getting no sound through my speakers even though the display indicates that the volume is being turned up or down. this is the same for radio and cd.

Either the wires came disconnected from the wire harness in the back, or most likely the cd player is junk. If you blew your output channel, ITS DONE

I hooked up a stereo system for a friend last night, and he has a 250 watt power acoustic amp, and he bought a 1200 watt amp wiring kit, is the wiring kit to powerful for the amp, because i hooked it all...

As I said in the previous post no the wiring kit is just fie. Yo uwill need to change the inline fuse and that is about it. The problem exists in how you have your subwoofers wired and what impedance is being presented to the amp. Please read my previous response to your your post.

There is no sound comming from My deh-27mp (on am/fm/mp3) all displays work just no sound. Can you HELP

Sounds like you blew both channels out. It is possible that you have a battery problem, and not sourcing enough voltage or current to operate the device. If service Tech say's he can't find nothing wrong then recheck your battery connection, and have Auto Zone check your alternator. Hope this helps!

Mp2035 cd player will not turn on.

My hunch is that the fuses blew. When you cut all three at once you shorted the battery to ground and most likely blew out the fuses. Check the fuses and let me know. That is my best guess. Good luck

My l/r channel will not work

With the radio on u will need to push audio button it will change to something different on the face push until speaker balance comes up & then push butons below it left or right to balance each side of speakers. For me it was the left speakers that i needed to balance good luck John

No sub when listening to a cd

you're using the wrong remote output wire. You have it hooked to the power ANTenna wire (blue) which turns off when not using the tuner. You need to use the REM OUT wire (blue w/ white stripe).
