Question about Disney DDA8040 MP3 Player
I bought this off ebay and I got and charged it and put the mix clip card in it. No headphones but I used a pair from a CD player and another from a cassette player. I can't hear anything but I know it's on because the light comes on. I'm new to this sort of player but now I'm worried if the card is faulty or if I should use a certain type of headphones for it. I'm afraid I might have gotten ripped off! Help!
The memory may be corrupt and it can't read the music files correctly. Open your My Computer icon and plug the player into your computer. You should see a new removable disk appear. Right click on the disck and choose Format from the pop up menu. At the Format window make sure that the File System is set to FAT32 and click Start. At the next window click OK to proceed. You'll then need to add the songs back to your player but it should correct the problem.
