I have a turntable with a connect that has a double male (large size) connector but a Base which wants a single small male to fit the AUX input. Is there an adapter I can use?

I assume you mean that the turntable uses 2 RCA output jacks and the Bose shelf system has a 3.5 mm AUX input jack. Since you have the RCA audio cable, get a RCA F/F to 3.5 mm adapter. Here is a link to one: . If you want to just have a single cable, RCA M/M to 3.5 mm M audio cables are available, . If you have 1/4" outputs on the turntable, you need to get a different adapter or use a combination. I don't know of many vendors for the 1/4" adapters these days.

I hope this helps.

How to hook up my pc's audio to rca rs3531 to

In general, your PC's sound card (and its controlling software) will determine what it can connect to.
Even the most basic PC would have stereo analog output via the typical green 1/8" connector or a headphone jack that easily adapts to RCA pair for REAL audio connection. Any Line Level (AUX in your case) input EXCEPT PHONO would accept the PC's output. The output level would be controlled by the sound card software and settings.

Do not know how to connect to iPod, computer, or any AV input?

Anything that has a headphone output can be adapted to feed an RCA cable pair for standard stereo to any audio device with a standard RCA input (except PHONO). Get a cable like the one described here:
and connect it into any available analog input EXCEPT "Phono". Turn the PC's volume control up for the headphone. Of course, if you have a sound card with the usual green front speaker outputs that would work, too.

Rca record player is playing slowed down or sped up

Hi there

this sounds like the belt that drives the turntable itself is slipping you can normally access it by removing the securing clip by the centre spindle and then lift the turntable up and you should be able to see the belt give the belt a good clean with isopropyl alcohol refit and hey presto (if you still get slippage order a replacement belt )

Old Turntable Philips

You may have a bad stylus (needle), it can cause just that type of problem. Find a service center near you and see if they can get a replacement for you. They are very easy to replace, but very difficult to find.

Hope this helps.

Driver belt

This is for ANY belt driven turntable.

The belt is usually directly beneath the platter (the part your record sits on). If you lift this up and out of the way there are two wheels, a small one from the motor ( less than 1" in diameter) and a larger one (usually more than double the size of the small one). The belt goes on around both of these. So the setup looks like a rubber band between 2 fingers...
