How do I get the drum out to replace it

How do you get the drum out of the panasonic fp-7735. I know I can not expose it to light and intend to put it right into a dark paper bag. I just can not figure out how to get it out. Is there a lever? If so were is it. Help me find it.... I see nothing in the manual it came with

It's bad to leave those older drums out in light, say over the weekend. But a couple hours will be fine.

First i must say i,m not an apprentice, i,m 25years knowledge. Thats an oldy. dated 1995-1997. open the front door, to the right under or by developer unit theres a lever, flip it right or left,(cant remeber) this moves the developer unit to the right away from the drum. then between the drum and cleaner unit is a small black cover, remove it, ( about 2in. square) under that is i believe 1 or 2 screws that hold cleaner assy and drum in. Carefully slide them out but first disconnect discharge lamp connectors, maybe remove th #1 charger to prevent drum damage and drop #2 charge assy down out of the way so you dont slide the drum accross it as it comes out. just go slow, maybe the cleaner unit on the left side of the drum unit willstay in the copier. its been awhile since I did one. Dont worry about the bag, thats an old wise tail. I,ve never covered a drum except to keep my sweat from dripping on it in a 102 degree office. , beside they rejuvinate within the first 10 copiers after going back in. good luck, i,ll be here.

My Panasonic FP-7160copier is showing code: c0210. What does it mean?

C0210 indicates a problem with the Transfer/paper separator corona unit.( the one below the drum)..it is either dirty, not installed properly or may need replacement.

Panasonic FP 7742 Copier

check drum and drum sensor. if the Drum cleaning blade (DCB) has failed and is smearing toner around the drum then the drum sensor can't see the drum. clean it with a brush. the sensor sits in the drum/ cleaning station.

Need to replace the drum cleaning brush how do I get it out????

The drum cleaning blade removal is pretty straight forward.
1. Remove the charge unit above the drum.
2. Remove the cover that sits above the cleaning blade.
3. Release the pressure spring at front of drum unit.
4. Remove 1 screw (front side of blade at top) holding blade in place.

I noticed that you had also had a E3-40 code previously. If toner is dropping on to your copies, the toner support blade will also have to be replaced.

Panasonic FP-7735 trouble shooting

That could be a few things. Your corona wires might need replacing. Something with the middle transport section, where one of the corona assemblies is at, is not making contact properly. Or it could be the high voltage power supply.
