Question about Radio Shack Pro-95 Handheld Scanner
I had the Pro95 Scanner for years, Id be glad to help with programming it if you'd like
you can download a program called WIN95 that is freeware ( I have personally used and
still use to manage my 10000 freq database) It is very easy to load and is free to use
for private individuals. all it requires is the Data Cable and a Ibm pc compatible computer
to load all 1000 freqs into your scanner in about 90 seconds. it doesnt get any easier than
that.. let me know if you cant download the Win95 file I do still have it i'd be glad to send it
If you have a specific area you would like it programmed for let me know , I will setup the P95 file
for you then when you get a data cable ($20 or so at your local radio shack )
The Part no. for the cable is catalog #20-289.
also you can find the cables on ebay as well.

If you want to give it a try yourself here is a link to a site that has mountains of information to get you going. http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Pro-95/Programming_Shortcut
Also a link to where you can obtain the owners manual: http://support.radioshack.com/manuals/ome20-525.pdf it's free to join Radio Reference (not required though) and you'll be able to search for all the "known" frequencies in your area to program into your scanner. Scanning is a great hobby! Good luck & Happy Trails ........... Jack
