According to my Sprint v3m manual it says to hit the center "o" button, select Bluetooth. This is where it hangs up for me, because it says to then hit "Setup" and simply select the power setting, on or off. However for me, there is no option for setup.

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

How do I change default storage settings from internal to sd card

Hello.
You can try using a file manager like ES File Explorer to move music and images from bluetooth folder to SD card.

As far as I know, you cannot natively change the storage location settings for Bluetooth shares. In order to move the files to another location, you need to use a file manager, such as ES File Explorer, to locate the Bluetooth share folder, and then move the files to a location of your choice. Unless you use a third party app for Bluetooth file transfers that allow changing the default location, you manually have to move the files after each transfer.

Bluetooth paired but not coneected

How to pair and then connect to a Bluetooth device on your T-Mobile G1 Google smartphone.
1. First, ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
2. From the Home screen, press Menu.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Wireless controls.
5. Select Bluetooth settings.
6. The G1 starts searching for Bluetooth devices in range. Select the device when it appears.
7. Type the PIN for the device.
8. The device should then pair with the G1. You can then select the device name to connect.
Bluetooth only supports ad2p profiles for headsets, music, and sharing of contacts and pictures. This is limited by VZ. Until the phone is rooted, there is absolutely no way around this. You cannot send files other than contacts and pictures via bluetooth.

It sucks... I know. I am in the same boat. I am [im]patiently waiting for the droid to be rooted so I can use bluetooth to share files between two droids.

Trying to send photo to a mobile phone

If you want to send them via bluetooth, search the market for 'Bluetooth File Transfer', by Medieval Software. After it is intalled, launch it, and go to 'Menu > More > Settings > Sharing service (FTP)', and make sure the 'Enabled' checkbox is ticked. Press the back button once, and do the same thing for 'Receiving service (OPP)', Notice that you can make both services (i.e. FTP and OPP) independent from the file explorer function, by making sure that on each of those pages, 'Start at boot' is checked, and 'Stop when close' is unchecked. Of course you can play with other settings too, like notifications, user interface, language, etc .
Press the back button until you get to the directory containing the file you want to send out (e.g. /sdard). Tap and hold over the file. A context menu will come up. Slide your finger up and tap over 'Send via Bluetooth'. You'll be prompted to choose the device from a list...

Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.

Anyway, please, let me know if I can help you any further.

Regards,
Carlos

WHEN I WANT TO CONNECT WITH ANOTHER MOBILES BLUETOOTH THEN IT SHOWS NO DEVICE FOUND

Hello,

First, you ensure that your phones bluetooth is on by doing to the settings and turning it on, then you ensure that the bluetooth device of the other device you are trying to send or receive a file from is also turned on, then, you can transfer files.

If it still does not find your bluetooth, you can try to receive a file from the recipient you were trying to share files with, and pair up the devices so you will be able to find bluetooth devices.

Take care

How to use my bluetooth

All you have to do is turn your i870's bluetooth on and at the same time, your fiancee's i580 bluetooth too. Like for example, if you want to transfer file from i850.
Here are the steps:

-Turn on your phone's Bluetooth

-Select the file in her phone that you want to transfer/send.

-In her phone, select "More/Option"

-Then click or select "Send via Bluetooth".

-Wait for the file transfer to finish,

Done! You have it.
You can do it vice versa........
Do the same thing iwth the other files you want to have from other's phone.

NOTE: YOUR PHONE''S BLUETOOTH SHOULD BE ON DURING THE PROCESS.

Don't hesitate to ask me again for further questions.......

If the problem is solved, a rate from you will be much appreciated. Tnx!
