Re: Temperature Knob

Bravetti is made by Euro Pro.

Toll free number is: 1-800-798-7398 or 1-800-361-4639

The actual **** only cost about $1.50. Then you pay a small fee for shipping. It's worth it. Better than buying a whole new machine.

I need a temperture control knob for rival crockpot

I have had good luck at our local appliance parts store. Take the old knob or the slow cooker in if you have a store close. Try looking for Appliances Household Parts in the yellow pages. If you have a metric/standard tape measure, remove the knob by pulling it off, if it will come off, then measure the shaft in mm and inches and look online. Also make sure to look at the shape of the shaft, sometimes they are half moon. Best of Luck

Lid Knob

Just called the number (found on the web) for the Wal Mart Model 106661 of this and they are sending me a form to replace the base (with the heating element in it). Also have the same problem with the lid handle. Asked them about getting a new handle and they said I could order an entire new lid. A ceramic cabinet knob with the SS screw and washers sounds like a better solution then buying a new lid. Info date 1/21/08

Broken knob

you can probably get a substitute knob from radio shack - replacement knobs. it may not have the markings you desire but at least you'll have a knob you can rotate.

Westbend Crock Pot- temp control knob won't stay

You might consider buying a whole new base considering the problem you are having purely as a "safety issue". Temperature controls can be serious safety hazards. If it's not stable best if you replace the base. You can buy one at West Bends link for half the price of a new one. Or you can also try this first. At some time in its use you might have gotten food oil in the control. Take the knob off and spray a commerically available "electronic contact cleaner" along the shaft and into the control pot. Turn the shaft back and forth several times as you do this. Depending on how dirty it is you may have to spray it quit a bit before it is cleaned out. I don't believe the base is emmerasble in water so don't do that. ***This is only a temporary fix and not the best one. *** The time and money you will spend fixing it if you can even find the replacement part is probably more than buying a replacement base.
