Maybe the problem in the VPN service - try to contact support, or change the provider. I use and no problems was not unified.

Check and make sure your firewall software is not blocking the VPN connection. The easiest way to test if it's conflicting with your VPN connection is to disable it and try the connection again. If this allows you to connect to the VPN you'll need to setup an exception in order to use the vpn for uk while it's running. This will vary depending on your firewall software, but in general you will need to allow outgoing connections to port 1723 and the GRE protocol (47) also allowed. Alternatively you could set an exception for all traffic to the VPN server address.

This is a known issue with that modem and Comcast wont support VPN from residential installations. If you want to change modems that don't have this issue, get a Motorola surfboard. If you want to change settings on the one that you have because of the protocols for assignment of addresses let me know

Need to hard reset my WAG200G to connect to VPN

You will see a reset button at back of your router so all you need is to keep holding it for 10 seconds then unplug the power jack for like 1 min and then your device shall be reset.

hi, mate check firewall settings of your modem/router. Then contact your IT administrator and he should be able to make changes to configurations for you. In most cases if server classify's your connection as unsafe it rejects it.

Modem blocking VoIP outgoing calls

I had a similar problem. Turns out my ISP was blocking IP phone calls. I bought a vpn appliance and solved the problem. If you use a soft phone you could try a personal vpn for 5 bucks to see if it works for you before shelling out for a hardware fix. That's what I did.

I get connected to my work VPN, but i can't sea any servers.

Because when you want to browse free it will happen, so better check with he hotel/fastfood or airport IT admin, he would have blocked it.
