Toshiba a25 cannot unlock the mouse pad

should work if you restart computer/if not then you get external mouse goto control panle click on mouse /hardware/propertes/change settings/driver /then update driver that should fix it /make sure you are on internet first

this i think is a known problem with this model
try to uninstall and reinstall driver
go to mycomputer
right click on properties
hardware
device manager 
mice and other pointing devices 
try scan for hardware changes 
and if that dont work right click and uninstall driver
retart comp
and it will try to reinstall driver 
failing that try a system restore
start, accessories, stystem tools, system restore
if that dont work you then need to remaster comp
