Question about GE WBSR3140DW Top Load Washer
I turn on the washer with the lid on so the water starts to fill up. Then i add liquid detergent. While the water is filling up, I close the lid and instantly the spinning starts and the water is still filling up. When i try to stop it, it does not stop. I have to open the lid to stop the wash cycle.
Also the SPIN cycle, take a very very long time to complete
Also when i power is off by pulling the plug and putting the plug it, it makes a Continous noise (a tone)
Can someone help me out as to why this is happenning.
A defective pressure switch can interfere with the cycles that depend upon the switch to indicate when water has filled or emptied from the tub. It can also result in underfilling or overfilling of the tub. The switch routes current from the timer control to the temperature switch and the water inlet valve when the tub needs to be filled. Once full, the pressure switch cuts the current and reroutes it to the motor on the timer control to continue the cycle.
