I've got the same problem. All ink tanks are at sufficient levels and I've done the nozzle check and print head cleaning. All normal.

Same problem. White lines, that get more pronounced as more of the page is printed. Ruins all photos. No problem when just printing B&W. Have cleaned printhead, changed incks, tried different media, cleaned rollers, algned heads repatedly. Is this just a Canon defect with the printhead? Relatively new printer.

I have the same problem as everyone else, and have tried the same things to resolve the problem as you have, without success. Colour photos are ruined, black and white are fine.

Had the same problem- after having this printer for about 2 years w/ little trouble, about every 4th line failed to print. Used a ton of ink trying to clean it all out- putting it onto HIGH print quality fixed it- at least for now.

Parallel vertical lines through pictures - ruins them.

I just bought a PIXMA iP3500. The 1st 2 photos I printed had veritcal White lines. I did a Nozzle Check and Alligned the Print head after the 1st photo printed. The 2nd still had the lines. Then I changed brands of Glossy Photo Paper and tried a 3rd time. This time I noticed that it printed much slower and it turned out just fine. Information says that you should have the settings at "high" not "standard". Double check that this hasn't inadvertently changed back to Standard. Gator

Canon Pixma iP6000D prints white streaks thru the words

Run a self clean on the printer a jet may be clogged. print a test page to see if problem persists. If ink is low put a piece of electrical tape over the sensor of the ink cartridge and try again.

Hope this helps!

Printing sound like it is printing but nothing on page, I did a test page and only the some of the printing worked. The black grid didn't show up

You may need to do a printhead cleaning operation.
Do 2 regular cleaning cycles.
If still not printing clearly, do a deep cleaning cycle.

My MP830 leaves white horizontal bands when printing black & white documents. Color printing seems fine. Pattern 'F' is missing on the print alignment page.

You need to continually clean and deep clean and realign the black until the results are acceptable. Try manual alignment if the auto does not work. Also clean around the exit hole of the black ink cartidge with a cotton bud and isoproyl alcohol.

Assuming you have aligned the head to produce the minimum noticeable amount of white streaks and gioven all the cleaning, deep cleaning and alignment you have done there are two conclusions.

1. If the printer has been performing OK and using the same ink supply in the CISS and the actual printed results are OK then simply continue withthe setup as is.
2. If the setup as is is producing unacceptable results then you will have to consider changing the print head for a new one.

Leaking Ink Cartridge

You need a shop to clean the extra ink that's coming up on the rollers and install a mylar strip to prevent that in the future. It's the waste ink being forced up thru the exit rollers and getting on the prints.
