Hello,my name is David ,I have a Maytag washer and dryer model lsg7806aae ,the dryer stop working it just give a sound like trying to spin but that is all,i tought was the belt,I loose it and took a look ,the belt is fine,please help me what else can be the problem with the dryer.please help its hard financially now and its hard to wash and have no where to dry my clothes.

Can you tell if the motor is turning,if so it could be your idler pulley and youve lost belt tension,otherwise it could be your motor start capacitor if motor spins freely with power and belt off

Insufficient heat

I would start by checking the venting for obstructions. disconect the hose and try a load. dont leave the hose off for too many loads as the lint and moisture will go into the room.
