I had my Starlogic 17" monitor go blank after 3 seconds but I found a solution to fixing it. (1.) Allow the monitor to power off over night. 2.) I changed the AC adapter because it seemed the plug was loose. 3.) I changed the power settings to Never Off. You can try Restore Default for monitor settings.

I owned the monitor for over 1 year, so the warranty was out.

The color is way off on my 17th inch StarLogic monitor, the green looks yellow, manually adjusting it does nothing.

Sometimes I find the video cable becomes defective, "sub another if both ends detach" next hook a spare monitor the the computer to make sure the colors are balanced, if yes! your Star Logic monitor is the problem and not cost effective to repair, because the main board is mounted to the back of the screen and processes the video signal, cheaper to replace. Now! if the spare monitor shows the same problem, the Video Graphics Card in the computer is the issue.

Try unplugging the power cord to your computer tower, click the power button to drain the capacitors in the mother board then plug the power cord back in and try to boot up. Has helped me repair several similar black screen problems. Chuck

I can't find a website for StarLogic anywhere, so either they have gone out of business (not likely as there should be some reference to them somewhere) or they are imported from a foreign manufacturer and rebranded with the StarLogic name.
