We have Uniden Dect 6.0 with five phones. After several years of use, we suddenly have a blinking light on the top left corner of each phone - constantly. The manual says this means a new message. We have played and deleted all messages. How do we stop the blinking?

While the message is playing, click the top button, the one with the circle with a line thru it. That will delete the playing message. If you wish to delete all messages, click the top button when all messages have played, then click once again when the prompt says "delete all?"

DECT 6.0 is not a model number, it's the generic name for the cordless phone technology in use. So I can't give you a more specific link than this one, which takes you to Uniden's download page for manuals. Pick your model from the list, and the manual will explain the steps you'll need to follow. Your phone's model number is on a sticker normally found on the rear or bottom of the base unit.

This probably applies to your model:-
From the expansion handpiece - while the message is playing - hit the 4 button - or 4:delete button.
From the base unit - while the message is playing - hit "delete".
You can only delete all messages at once from the base unit.

Which of the many Uniden DECT 6.0 phones do you have? Manuals are available here: http://www.uniden.com/index/manuals_results.cfm?cat=59 . They are stored as PDFs for several languages.
Some models have an answering system but still can synch with the Voice Mail of your telephone provider. These will also blink if there is a Voice Mail waiting.
I hope this helps.
