Question about Computers & Internet
I installed a new HD on my Acer 230. Installed XP Pro and SP2. I get no response from my touchpad and must use an USB mouse. Any clue why it is disabled?
You should (hopefully) have a system CD for your Acer 230, with system drivers on it. That should contain the touchpad driver, so by installing that CD and its software, you should restore your touchpad, and perhaps other things as well.
If you cannot find the CD, you can probably find the touchpad driver or Acer 230 driver package on the Acer web site.
