The printer will not print black. I have changed the cartridge #14 multiple times and do not know what the problem is.

The following may work: remove all the ink supplies. Remove the printhead and soak it for about 5 minutes in 0.5" of very hot water. Gently blot the printhead on a soft damp paper towel to remove the excess water, then replace in the printer and then reinstall the ink supplies.

Black won' print on pro officejet k5300 (vivera hp inks)

You could clean the black ink cartridge. For this you need to remove the black ink cartridge which is present in the printer. In order to clean the laser or scanner block you could use a cotton swab as it would fully clean the dirt. You need to clean the grime and the dried ink present in the printer. This would remove all the hindrances which prevent the ink from flowing. Cleaning the printer heads would also help to solve the problem.

I have a hp officejet pro k5300 and it says that the cartridge is stalled and it will not print.

hardware malfunction call up hp at 1800 474 6836 and we will troubleshoot for you trust me it will help cauz there are so many things that we can do that this space im writing in is to small.eg: connect the printer directly to the wall jack.
unplug the power cable of the printer and wait for 30 secs before repluggin the printer.move the carriage(that holds the printheads, spraying part of your printer) with your hand and check if it moves id it does n't then its definitly a hardware problem with your printer but you will need to call in to hp for a total problem resolution.
