Won't Load I went to put in a new CD that I purchased the other day and it won't feed into the player. I thought something might be stuck and tried the holding down the eject button but nothing comes out. If any one could help it would be awesome.

Re: Won't Load

Sometimes the rollers that pull it into the deck get oil on them from our fingers and then they wont grab the discs, id try to pop the front off and clean them with alchool and a qtip

Re: Won't Load

If you hear a "tick, tick, tick" when you try to load it it could be your loading spring

Hi, I recently purchased a new Stereo deck and I like to remove the old Alpine CDE-7827 deck. My car is a 1995 Ford Thunderbird.

The original wires in the 95' thunderbirds are a pain, trying to figure out how to take out factory stereo and replace with aftermarket Sony cd player, have no clue because the wires don't match up, some do and they will load and unload discs but won't power up any suggestions...?!?

Cd won t eject from 2006 Ford Focus mp3 player Get eject error message How can I safely remove CD''

HI, either the deck assembly is jammed or, the load motor has failed. In this case, you will need to disassemble the entire set in order to retrieve this CD.

The actual loading deck(the part where the CD is located), is surrounded by a metal housing. the gear assembly is probably locked, due to this jam or failed load motor. This will also require a set of precision tools as well. if you find this a bit overwhelming, i suggest taking this unit to a local automotive audio shop. they can dissemble it and, retrieve the CD for a small price.

Cd loading

Is this problem new or was it always like that? If it is an mp3 cd you are having problems with, It is normal for mp3's to take some time to load. If it wasn't like that before, I would suggest cleaning the Lens/ eye of cd player. If you don't want to take it apart, you can use a cd cleaner. It is just a disk with soft brushes that can clean inside the cd player.
Have a good day!

Did you try to reset it? Look for a small button that only be press with a toothpicker or something that small. Another way to reset is to disconnect the battery. Goodluck.

Try cleaning the unit with a laser lens cleaner disc and see if this helps at all. If not it sounds like your laser assembly may have failed.
