i cant boot my emachine after replacing the hard drive, and power supply,, i didnt work before either, i dont know where to plug in the indicator lights and the start stop switch

Did you check the CMOS battery and the CPU fan. Those are two things that if aren't working the way they should be, then some computers will not boot up. Try this first then post a response if you still can't get it working.
