Question about Epson Stylus Photo RX700 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Still reads "parts inside your printer are at the end of their life"
I posted the same problem but have finally found out how to fix. Let me remind you, I have an Epson Stylus RX700 and I run Vista on my computer. Epson will now resolve this problem with a download. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/store/support/inkpadsform.jsp Tried it and my printer is now working once again. I do suggest cleaning the sponges that collect the ink. Just to make sure they aren't over filled. Still haven't figured out how to clean the right side of the carriage where the printhead sits. I am going to try printing a full page and in the middle of printing, unplug the unit. Hopefully that will keep the printhead to the side. Hope this helps.

Review online guide and trouble shooting for suggestions.
The manuals, online guide and trouble shooting sections could help you resolve your problem. Contact support has a chat facility on some pages that may help.
Click this Link
Under Select a Product Range
Choose Laser Printers on the webpage
Under Select a Product
Choose Aculaser C1100 on the webpage
Under Select an OS
Choose the operating system on the machine where you will install the printer on the webpage
Click Confirm Selection
The manuals and documentation link will allow you to download manuals that were on your CD ROM
you may want to bookmark the online guide, if present, to help with future problems -- that probably was not on the CD
Click the back button on the browser
click the Drivers and Software Link
This allows you to download software files that were probably on your installation CD
Click the back button on the browser again
Trouble Shooting and Contact Support could be an interesting link in the future too when and if you have problems.
I hope this helps

I have had a R300M for a while now and had a few cartridges in it. (Mostly Compatible Cartridges not OEM) Recently a message came up on the screen 'parts inside your printer are at the end of their life' and the printer refused to work!
After searching the web it appears to be a waste ink counter, but I could not find any info on resetting it.
Tried pressing different combinations of buttons on the printer and success. (Found Ink counter reset)
Press and hold 'stop' 'maintenance'(ink button) and 'power' buttons for about 10 seconds,(while printer is on) a message will come up on the screen saying counter is reset and to turn off.
Thats it, turned my printer back on, and all works fine again.
I hope this helps R300/R300M owners out! (Also I have email into Epson Support, can't wait to hear what they say the problem is for the fix!)
