Question about Gigabyte GA-945GM-S2 (0818313003065) Motherboard
I have assembled an hold Pentium 3 at 1.0 ghz on a mobo soltek 65kv2 ct 512 mb sdram 133 and a Sapphire radeon 7000 64 MB DDR, the problem is that i can't enable the agp texture acceleration on dxdiag i tried everything win me win 2000 and xp nothing works :( i used all updated drivers video and mobo coul you help me please
Hi all, I am running Gigabyte M59SLI-S5 mobo, 6000x2 CPU, 4gigs 1066ram, 2 dvd-burners, a 6600GT vid card, and an X-fi sound card, all powered by a 650watt BFG PSU, in Vista Home Premium. Ever since I installed the new ram my pc is running very unstable, It isn't the ram as I've run various mem testers and what not. Every time I tell my PC to shut down it doesn't, not all the way. My monitor turns black, vid card and HDD turn off, but the RAM is still running (can tell because of the LED's on it), and so is the PSU (lights are on). What could cause this? I also don't have any viruses. I had problems with my old ram in this same mobo as well.
Also another problem is that sometimes when I boot my pc it has mobo Bios F4, and sometimes it shows an F8H. So it doesn't always boot under the same revision of the BIOS. I've tried flashing the BIOS and reupdating, but each time I do that it stays at the f8h version a few days then sporadically reboots in F4 or F8 revision.
What do I need to do? Get a new mobo? And is it unsafe for parts of my pc to turn off but the psu and ram not to? I wanted to wait until March or so to get a new mobo, but if this will damage other components should I get a new one now? I appreciate all answers, as I am completely bewildered by this, and no one I know has ever heard of this.
And a side note, I have checked my running temps and my CPU is about 40C under load and whole system case is about 27C under load.
