Kenmore Gas Range - burners won't ignite
I have a Kenmore gas range, model number 362.7556191. I was cleaning the top of the stove this morning and when I turned on the knobs for the burners, they wouldn't ignite. All I get is a clicking noise. The oven and broiler work fine.

- I have had this problem with a different brand gas igniting stove top. Usually I will make sure it is clean in/around the spark unit (usually located at the top near the slotted holes. Also, I ensure that the top plate is seated correctly on top of the slotted gas exit area. Sometimes I use a match to start the unit and it will work the next time I use the spark igniter. Good luck ... Please try any/all before hiring or calling in any service repair person... This has worked for me for years. Tommy O- Guest

its possible your gas regulator is bad or the gas line to the ignitor is stopped up look at the line and see if some type of food has blocked the outlet
