How can I install the driver for canon zr80. I

How can I install the driver for canon zr80. I have no disks. I am trying to dowload from the cassette to my computer and I just bought a firewire cable. What do I do next? I can't seem to get anything when I plug it in. DO I need to download a driver for the camcorder or any other programs..

Do you have windows movie maker? try it. In the file menu,open capture video.

You need software to recognize it. Do you have video editing software in your computer?

Hi,
make sure you are using 4 pin to 4pin firewire which looks like this:

After connecting,
Switch on the Cam.
Open Windows Movie Maker and import video from device.

Go to this link. Click on "Frequently Asked Questions" and then click on the appropriate link (#4). Basically, once the firewire cable is connected, make sure that the camcorder is in the playback mode, is turned on, and you see "DV IN" on the LCD. If all that is happening, your computer/software should be able to "see" the camcorder and download the video.

You may not have enough room on your hard drive to install the drivers. If you have a previous canon printer driver installed, you have to completely uninstall it, too.

Don't have original installation disk

download it from link below
1) click on Drivers and Software
2) selet your Os (operating system i am assuming you have xp; so select windows xp)
3) click on drivers SG-CSU532.exe to download drivers and click on ScanGearToolboxCSv223.exe to dowload it.
4) agree to dowload and run it.

Note: the Canon CanoScan FB630Ui only support Mac Os X, windows XP windows 2000 and windows me. you wont be able to run it on any version of vista. windows 7.

Download driver for mx310 need help install to computer. Do not have disk, set up wizard does not see new program, download complete.What is the next step?

www.canon.com/support/dowloads remove the old driveers from add/remove software in the control panel, run the installation program and u should be good
