The performance of WiFi connection depends on signal part or strength.
Avoid obstructions and radio interference, this will reduce range of WiFi network.
If you a Wireless Repeater (Range Expander) this can help you a lot to have a excellent & good signal.

Try placing the router closer to the center of the house, and in a higher area, and away from cordless phones, and high voltage wiring.
