With our 2003 Tiburon we have replaced the window motors driver passenger and now we are replacing the moon/sun roof motor. The turn signals stay on, the heater blower switch shorts out. My instructor says PCM and Hyundai says BCM. Which one is it and shouldn't this be a recall matter???

BCM's are not repairable, they are just replaced, but it must be programmed for your car by the dealer, they come blank.

Right turn signal light stays on front and back and will not work. lights stay on when car is not running and is draining battery

this problem is a bad BCM the relay is part of the computer system and your problem is common. replace the BCM and reprogram security and you will be good to go.

Or find someone to replace the relays inside. Harder to do than you think, I change them all the ime, but not easy to find the replacements.

Turn signal lights are staying on when key is out of ignition

This one can be tricky. Cause may be a defective hazard relay, or the BCM (Body Control Module) has an internal malfunction. You'll want to ISOLATE both of them. You cannot disconnect the hazard relay as it is an 'integral' part of the BCM. You'll need to disconnect BCM connectors BCM-CE, -FF, & -IM to verify if the problem is inside the BCM.

Since an internal short is suspected inside the BCM, verification of this is done by disconnected these connectors one-by-one and watch the results (each turnsignal lamp with go 'OFF" when its ground circuit is removed.

2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT 2.7 right turn signals always 'on'

In your Tiburon, the "fuse box panel" is called a BCM, or Body Control Module. It contains all kinds of ****, including a microprocessor.

Other than paying the dealer to replace the BCM, there really not much you can do to solve the problem. I've had my BCM replaced 3 times now. Y

You can just leave the hazard fuse out, but eventually the BCM will further fail, causing all kinds of electrical problems.

HOW DO I REPLACE MY TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS ON 2003 HYUNDAI TIBURON

I just found out today that it is a problem for alot of 2003 tiburons that the flasher relay for the turn signals will go out causing the turn signal lights to stay on even with the car off. The relays are internal and located on the circuit board of the BCM. In order to fix you will have to remove and disassemble the bcm circuit board from it's housing and resolder a new flasher relay. Haven't figured out where to get that flasher relay though.
