Here's a quick check list
for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem.
Dirty contacts on driver
and passenger seat belt buckles
Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors
(under seats)
Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight
sensors (under seat)
Seat covers
Weight on passenger seat
(Example:
grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)
I
recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC
electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity problem.
I DO NOT
recommend disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s).
Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce
the problem.

The SRS light is referring to an a problem that has been detected in the air bag system.
The problem could be anything from an electrical system to a sensor or module problem.
You can take your vehicle to your local Auto Zone or Advance Auto and ask them to scan the car for trouble codes, they will scan and report the codes to you at no charge. Write the codes down and respond back to this post and we can start diagnosing the issue.
Let me know.
Regards,
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must
now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and
"scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the
problem(s)
Legend of Abbreviations. ABS Antilock brake system.TCS Traction control system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint system, BCM Body control module
