Question about Hoover U5450-900 Windtunnel Supreme Bagged Upright Vacuum
When I turn the vacuum on, it sounds normal, and as I'm pushing it forward, it seems to be suckign things up, but as soon as I roll it back, it spits it all back out, mostly on the right side. The Bag/Filter light flashes, but there's a brand new bag and filter, adn everything lokos fine with both. If I use just the hose, it works fine. ANy suggestions?
Sounds like one of two things: First, is the beater bar turning? If not, you'll have to remedy that. The bar should turn freely without a belt attached. But...you may have a problem with a jam in the tube leading from the beater head to the suction area. It will be coat hanger time in there. Be sure the unit is unplugged!
