SOURCE: Cannot set up email

When you upgraded to the BlackBerry Curve, did you add the BlackBerry data plan to your account? If not, then this process won't work. If you did add the BlackBerry data plan, contact AT&T and ask to speak with the BlackBerry support. They can make sure that everything was provisioned properly.

SOURCE: Can't send pictures!!

First, try performing a hard reset: remove the battery from the BlackBerry while it is still powered on. Leave it out for 30 seconds, then reinsert.

If that doesn't work you might try re-registering on the network. Go to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table. Highlight a table, press the menu key, then select Register now.

Also, make sure that Browser Push is enabled. Go to Options > Advanced Options > Browser Push and make sure Enable Push, Enable MDS Push and Enable WAP Push are enabled.

SOURCE: Every time I receive an email, it comes with the message RIM_bca

If its a message something to this effect (this message is used to carry data between the handheld and the wireless network, do not delete or reply) Go into your desktop on your phone and go to options, advanced options and service books, you will see two service books that say Desktop (cical) and desktop (cmime). Leave each one hightlighted and hit menu button and select delete. If you set up the blackberry desktop manager with the wrong email itegration and then sync'd your blackberry to your computer these service books get pulled into your device. To avoid it happening again reinstall your bblackberry desktop manager and when it gets to the section about selecting your email integration, select blackberry internet service (even if you dont have the internet on your phone)

SOURCE: blackberry pearl 8100 wont let me email pics

Assuming you have an 8100 pearl I believe for some reason this phone does not do mms. either that or the following is true.

With certain wireless providers a BB data plan may be required for MMS to function. For example, T-Mobile has a $0.00 feature that can be added to a persons account to enable MMS (which is included in messaging packages) without enabling full data capabilities. I believe Alltel offers a similiar feature. Contrastingly, ATT BB's cannot send or receive MMS without the $30, minimum, BB data feature being on the account. I'm waiting for a class action suit against ATT for taking subscribers money for messaging packages, that include picture messaging, but not providing all of the services being paid for by some PDA phone users.

AT&T SMS Settings for Unlocked Samsung Blackjack 2

ATT tech support & several web forums confirm that sending a SMS from your computer via an IM, (like Yahoo Messenger, etc.) to a PDA cellular is web based and requires a data plan. However, you can send a text message via email to cellular phones and receive replies. It is easy and just as fast. You have to know the recipients carrier to obtain the proper email address. For instance, to an ATT phone the address is: Remember that most carriers have a character limit (ATT is 160).

Have a blackberry 7520 and I am using it on boost mobile unlimited but I can't get web access or text message how do I get internet access?

yes there is a way.
download "opera mini" (you can google it for download sites) for internet access. however u cannot download anything OTA (over the air) from websites.

as far as texting... the device does not support texting with boost.
there are several ways around this..

you can try a free messaging program (one such as "RAMBLE IM" to use AOL IM).
i used to use this and just send messages to peoples phone numbers that i had saved on my buddylist. (EX: +15552223333)
you can download "GMAIL" which is google email and send emails to peoples cell phone numbers. every cell phone number comes with an email.. for example to send a text to a VERIZON customer u would send the email to and they would just reply to it and u would get it. however, they wont see ur phone number it would show up as ur email account u set up with google mail. another however is that gmail doesnt inform u on ur handset when u receive an email u have to manually check it and refresh it but if u go to ur google email account using a computer u can go to settings/options-> forwarding/pop tab-> and forward all emails to ur phone (EX: now everytime u get an email it will send it to ur handset as well and it will vibrate or ring whatever u have it on and let u know u have a message.

you can google all these programs to download them and put them on ur blackberry thru desktop manager. good luck.

You need to get your service books resent to your device, there should be an option to Prompt on " mailbox and handheld " and another option to turn reconciliation on.

Are you on BIS or BES?

Reconcile problem

First thing each day:
Open Options > Email Reconciliation
Turn Wireless Reconcile to OFF
Save the change
Ignore warning
Go back and turn Wireless Reconcile back ON
It will work properly for that day!
Not a ton of help, but that's what our folks have to do. :(
