Can i use Dir 300 on a windows 7? my desktop's OS is vista while my laptop's is windows 7.. would like to know if it supports windows 7..

Yes, this product is compatible with Windows 7.
To note, if you are upgrading to Windows 7 from either Windows Vista or Windows XP check before installing that your Wired/Wireless equipment on your computer will have compatible drivers for Windows 7.

Hi dear Sir/Madam I formated my system cause virus attack,my system Model No is [ AWRDACPI ] but I still not back my drivers vga and sound card, how can i reinstall my drivers, every sites showing buy from...

You have not said what operating system you are using. If you are using XP or Vista or 7, the operating system comes with nearly all the drivers required to support the devices the OS will run.

A place I would suggest you start is the Windows 7 compatibility list. Find it here: Look up each hardware device you require drivers for. If the device is listed, you can get additional information and the source of any required drivers.

If you are running Vista or XP or (gasp) ME or even W-98, there are similar sites that you can be linked to. Be aware ME and 98 are no longer supported ... translation, there is no new information posted after the official expiration date.

If you don't find the device listed under the OS you are using, there probably is no driver. However, before you replace the device, check with the computer manufacturer or the device manufacturer. For example, if your computer is a HP ... go to If your device is a nokia ... yo would go to

Good luck with your project and thanks for your question

Hi. HP DC5100 driver support Windows 2000/XP/Vista only. Try downloading the drivers for Vista and see if it works on Windows 7. Sometimes Windows Vista and Windows 7 drivers are compatible.

Not working on my 2nd computer

I am going to assume Vista is the first OS and both machines are windows computers and you are accessing the cable service through a DI-524 wireless router. There are many issues that can relate to your problem. First does your cable provider require you to logon to access the internet. If so, try using each computer individually (with the other one logged off and shutdown) with the existing wireless connection. If this works both machines are configured correctly for the router and the issue appears to be dealing with the logon possibly having it performed by the router if possible. Second if that does not work -- on each machine bring up a command prompt window (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt) and type ipconfig and press enter. There may be multiple local area connections but look for one with a 192.168.?.? address on each machine. The first question mark should be the same on both machines and the second different. If this works both machines have connected to the router and we are seeking another issue. If this is not true one machine has a configuration problem and cannot access the wireless router (probably the Windows ZP computer from you description). We will need to diagnose further once you answer the above questions.
