Sony sa-wmsp1. My grandson put lego pieces in my subwoofer. How do I get them out?

By the looks of it, I think you are going to have to disassemble the speaker and manually remove the lego pieces. (Aren't grandkids fun? I can't turn my back on my mine, he's a little tornado!)

Here's a copy of the manual in PDF, all you have to do is remove some screws (they are identified as "SCREW +BVTP 4X10 TYPE2 N-S" (# 57 on the diagram on page 6) so I'm guessing that they are Torx.

After you get the back off, you may also have to remove the front cover (screws are accessed from the inside) Not a hard fix overall, should take a hour or less.

I have a proton satria 2007 model with a fully intergarted head u

First off, change the front speakers with a decent pair of aftermarket. Buy a powered subwoofer. One that has the amp built in. Connect it to the rear speakers. Bazooka tubes are great, compact, great bass.Adjust your radio so that the front speakers do not recieve alot of bass, you want it about half way. That way you are using all the power to push high notes, Bass takes a lot of power to push, reducing the volume. Turn the subwoofer to the maximum setting, and then adjust the system to your liking. It will take some time, but it is worth it in the end. Tip: set it while listening to your favorite station. Stations broadcast at different sound levels. Some pump up the bass, some don't.

Power, but no sound

take an ohm meter and remove wires from speaker...put meter in the ohms will put a lead on each of the terminals of the should have a reading of 2, 4, 8 may also try to use the continuity test, same, but there will be a beep ....this basically ensures that the coil running through the speaker is still good, as one piece, otherwise it will get no good reading and this is usually from blowing the speaker or sudden high bass sounds....

What voltage required to power a sony subwoofer

I just got one of these units, the SONY SS-WG990.
The RCA cable is direct conection to the speaker.
It requires external AMP.
The other cable is just for the system switch and LED.
If you just have this unit, all you need is an AMP to
feed it.

Sony Active Subwoofer noise

The circuit that should be turning the sub on and off based upon the presence of an audio signal is not working correctly and the sub is trying to reproduce 60 cycle hum. The unit needs service.
