hello,
I have a problem with my computer.I have installed win xp and my audio driver is not working well.It returns this error code 88780078 .i can't uninstall it,i've tryied to reinstall win xp...same error .the computer is brand new and don't know what is the problem...please help me

I have the same irritating problem , and I'm playing direct frm the pc , no cd ,, they tod me to do sumthin to the output pluggin ,, but tht didn't work ,,

while trying to listen to the radio--pop up said "bad direct sound driver, stall proper drivers or select another device in configuration. error code 88780078 ' no steps to repair done

i have exactly the same problem....and no, i am not playing from cd-rom.......i am using winamp 2.91 too....
