Panasonic DMR-E75V DVD - How to use??

Help. I have a Panasonic DMR-E75V DVD/VHS burner. I have no idea how to use this and the manual is very confusing. Does anyone understand this that can give me some instructions? All I want to do is 1. burn stuff from TV to the DVD and 2. burn home movies from VHS to DVD.

How to convert a VHS to DVD on Panasonic DMR-E75V

Do you have the operation manual for this model? No? Just in case you cannot locate your copy, or you don't have one, you can download the free .pdf document of it from the following:

It is easier to grab the manual online rather than have someone explain usage functions of the appliance here. (copy and paste the URL into your browser)

Bear in mind this is a 2004 model machine so it is getting old - I should point out this model also does not support DVD+R/DVD-R DL/DVD+R DL playback and may not support these formats for recording. However if you are not concerned about that, and you only intend to use DVD-R discs, then the free .pdf manual should help you somewhat.

I have the DVD/VHS recorder/player Panasonic Model DMR-E75V, I have connected the 2 scart cables to the digital decoder and TV set but I cannot record even if I can play the VHSs and DVDs normally. It's a...

First of all you have to connect only one SCART cable ( one end to TV and the other to DMR ).When you are watching a program on TV select the DMR source ( input selector ) to SCART. Just press the record button with a blank DVD inside and it will record. Some Digital broadcast might have copy protect content which will prevent the recording from happening.

Help w/ panasonic burner

I own one and it is a pain to work. Put in the disc and vhs tape and hit the bottom right button, I believe it says DVD and above it says dubbing. Hold it for a few seconds and the screen will come up and the system will do the rest recording from your VHS tape to the disc. You MUST finalize the disc after you are finished if you want to watch it in another DVD players if not it will only work on the Panasonic. Hope this helps. If not here is the site for the owners matual

sounds like the video head is dirty, you can try a head cleaner, sometimes tougher dirt on the heads may require manual cleaning of the video head. good luck
