You need to convert them to mp3 files to reduce the size. Download a free convertor to do this

you need to convert the file to an mp3 file... about 3-4 mega bytes for a 3-4 minute song. do a google search for a "freeware mp3 file convertor"

Had to send my Wii in for repair, and it came back with its memory wiped. Now Rock Band 2 says is cannot load the add-on content from my SD card... even songs that I've downloaded since I got the Wii back....

Have you made sure you are logged into your Nintendo Marketplace account? If you are logged in and still can't get the DLC, try moving a few songs onto the Wii. If that doesn't work, then you are out of luck. The Wii doesn't like moving files to a system with no previous memory of a game system you once had or moving to another person's Wii.

I cannot play few MP3 songs in my mobile. It gives a message as unsupported file. Please give me a solution for this.

I solved this problem by inserting my memory card that contained the Mp3 files on my computer.

Then I went and manually shortened all of the files names. There's a limit of 32 characters for file names on this phone.

After I did this, my phone can play every song!

Hope this helps..

AAC to Mp3 conversion problem?

My Dear Friend,
I too am an Apple 30 GB Ipod video user . I haven't faced such a trouble yet .Why don't you copy the songs from your ipod to a local or external drive via my computer(assuming you're a MS user too) . Then make the folder in which you copied your songs as the default song storage folder of your iTunes after clearing it of all the previous content .Then sync your ipod which cleans it for once . I can't guarantee it to work but there's no harm in trying out . This way you won't lose any information you entered about the songs . If the problem still persists try the toll free number and consult the expert (you might have to hold on for very long , but it's worth it if they can help you) . But first try the trick above . If it works you're in luck and have saved time .

HD won't connect

Whoa, i've been so busy lately, I almost forgot about this place... Unfortunately, this is yet another mp3 player HDD problem. It's broken and there is nothing you can do to fix it except replace the hard drive. I hate to tell you this, but your songs are lost. If you desperately must try everything to get the songs back, I would suggest freezing it in the freezer (put it in a plastic bag if you fear moisture getting into the unit). After removing it from the freezer, you'll have a one to two hour window to try to get all the songs off before the hard drive thaws and you won't have access to the songs anymore unless you refreeze it-the window will shorten everytime you do this. The reason freezing MIGHT work is because most hard drive failure problems deal with the actuator arm touching/scratching the platter in which case the platter is being damaged and/or information cannot be read correctly. The coldness causes the arm to contract and stop touching the hard drive. Be aware that there might be more damage than freezing can rectify and the actuator arm might not be the problem. But hey, it's worth a try. If that seems a bit extreme(and indeed it is), you can send it in to a hard drive recovery specialist such as one listed here: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Hardware/Storage/Data_Recovery/
