Question about GE Profile Spectra JGBP90 Gas Kitchen Range
My refer door does not close tight anymore. i don't hear the suction like i do on the freezer side. we did have a rat that was living in there and chewing things up do you think he chewed a hose or wire or is it possible that i didn't level it correctly during install and the alignment is off?
First, the unit should be installed so that the floor is level and even. If not, the door cannot close properly because the cabinet will be distorted. There are some adjustments which can be made according the the manual. Make them. Second, look at the door itself. If the gasket is distorted or damaged by the rodent or it is dried out or ripped, you'll have to replace what's damaged. Check that the hinges are properly installed and tight. The door should swing freely. There is generally nothing inside the door which should interfere with it closing properly however, if you've overloaded the bins, it could interfere.
