When I opened the dishwasher door something pinged and now it wont lock.

- Door lock failed after 6 mo. Sears replaced lock, New lock failed after three weeks. Sears returned twice to reposition the locking bar (it moves back so it can not engage locking strike)
Contacted Bosch - they said owner needs training on how to open - close door. Unit still under warrenty - Sears tech unable to find problem .- ordguy

that is the spring thats gone and will not lock the jaws you need to replace the lock on the door normaly about£5.00
