My laptop (asus x58c notebook pc) will not load my administrator profile properly and ive no access to any of my files when i go to restore its telling me there no files to restore... can someone help me fix this problem
You may have a virus that has done other damage to your system. Have you been running an up-to-date virus check program?
You will have to reload your operating system and applications. Back up any data files you want to retain if this is possible.
Corruption of the administrator profile means that any fixes to correct the problem will leave you open to doubt about the overall health of your system. A clean system will alleviate this.
Sorry for your pain.
You probably have spyware or malware, if you are unable to access any System Restore files and you are experiencing a profile problem.
Try accessing via Safe Mode (press F8 continuously).
Copy your data files to an external drive.
Try to fix your system by downloading, installing and running SpyBot and Malwarebytes.
If unsuccessful, your operating system is corrupted and will need to be repaired or reinstalled.
Hope this helps.
