I have a suburban propane oven in my RV. The stove works great but the oven after being on for 5 to 10 minutes starts to puf out. The flames dies then puffs back on. this happens over and over like it is loosing propane then coming back on. The pilot stays lit. Can you suggest anything. The model number is Suburban SRN3S / SRS3S or SRN3L / SRS3L. Thanks

Propane not getting to oven... stove top works fine..

The pilot light must be lit and stay lit before you will have any propane coming into the oven. This is a safety feature.

Oven burner flame is low

0000000.jpgOn top of that safety valve is a nut. Get a good fitting wrench. Turn on the oven and use that good fitting wrench on that nut. Turn it counterclockwise till the flame comes up about midways of the flame spreader. Don't get the flames too high. Midways of the spreader now. LOL

Gas oven that cooks unevenly

clean your orifaces.

Also make sure that it's the correct stove for your gas type. If you're using a NG stove on Propane, you're wrong. It's making a lot of soot, and could potentially blow up your house. Stop using it until you're sure.
