TV will not stay on

The TV will turn on for a few seconds. I can hear sound, but then it turns off after 2 - 3 seconds. The stand-by light continues to flash. A previous posting on this site indicated a problem with the power supply. How expensive is such a repair?

Fault are on the high voltage section, mostly the transistor
