Cant off the psp go and still on screen is please wait..cant go to the menu

It seems like your Psp Go has gotten stuck on that screen. The only valid way to fix this is to either:
  • Wait for the Psp to Die. Just let is sit and it will run out of power eventually.
  • Pull the battery out of the Psp which will cut the power. Then place battery back in and turn on.
Thank you for using FixYa! =) If I helped, please give me a rating.

Try it without the battery hooked up and only the Ac Adapter hooked up.

If the psp still cuts out after 3-5 seconds then that means its a problem with the main board.

If the psp doesn't cut out then that means the battery is either bad or to much power is drained out of it and needs to be recharged fully.

You also can still try to try a different ac adapter just to be sure if the cord is to tangled up cause tangled up wires can cause the wires to break inside of the rubber casing.

How do you turn a psp back on only the green light shows

Sorry about the problem you are having with your psp, meanwhile you can follow the simple steps that I'll outline below to see if the problem can be fixed.

Step 1. Switch off the psp and make sure it is not connected to any power source, then pull out the battery and fix it back.

Step 2. Switch it back on, and if it does show only the green light without having the screen come on, then i guess the screen could be damaged or other associated screen components.

Step 3. Don't open the psp because you are technical enough, please take it to a sony center closest to you and you'll have the screen changed or the associated component/componnts.

(to turn off properly the PSP, hold the "ON/OFF" button for mostly 10secs or more) Usually, when you turn on your PSP while holding the R Trigger, it should go directly to your Recovery Menu (black screen with configuration menus, etc...). If it doesn't do that while holding R, maybe there' s something wrong with your PSP... but if it does, to turn your WMA on, got to recovery Menu>Registry Hacks, then your will see there the options...for activate WMA, Activate Flash player, just press X on those and it should be fine...

Psp screen

wrong. THe correct answer is that the psp is bricked. If it turns on and powers back down almost immediately, then you had a problem during the last firmware update, and the psp lost power, or encountered a read/write error. This can be fixed with a pandora's battery and magic memory stick, but without these, it is useless. Either buy a battery and download the MMS software, or lend the psp- to someone who has it so that they can fix it, because that is the only way to fix it

Cant get psp to work

Try Holding the R trigger and turn the power on at the same time. This puts you in a different mode. Press the display brightness button to see the version. Power off and back on again to see if that resets it. This is only a guess I would appreciate at least a thanks for trying.

Check ur firmware, (if ur PSP installed custom firmware e.g. OE, M33.) goto "recovery mode", press and hold R(right button) while turn on ur psp. if u can go, simple use pandora battery for downgrade/upgarde ur psp. see at,
