I am a beginner at figure skating and wondered what are the best skates for me?

I would recommend using a leather skate as opposed to other materials, this is because leather is more giving and it will stretch with your movement and shape of foot but not so much so they become baggy. Like the Jackson Mystique Skating Package.

How to take the brakes off

Really, go to a major autoparts store like Autozone or Advance and get a CD on the subject or watch someone for the first time.

If anything goes wrong the vehicle will not stop. Much of the work requires inspection and if you are a beginner, you will not know good from bad or passable. There are a few tools you need, plus safe jacking.

Please rate my solution.

Rod knock

1. Rods connects to crankshaft and pistons.
2.Crank access is under car through oil pan removal.
3.Piston is romoved after step 2 through top of engine after cylinder head removal.
4. This is simplified explanation, you need to get head and pan gaskets, a gallon of oil, piston ring compression tool, knowledge of engine components and timing procedures etc...
5. Do you have a big garage and all required tools? What have you fixed on a car before, this is not a beginner or intermediate level fix.

Clutch having hard time shifting into 1st or 2nd, then once moving I can get it into 3rd maybe 4th and 5th then it will not shift down back to 2nd or 1st. Is the clutch cable slack? How would I know, and...

The problem is not the clutch. The problem is bent shift forks in the transmission. I hate to tell you this, but it will not be cheap to fix. Some special tools are needed to do the repair and working on the transmission is not recommended for the beginner mechanic. The engine comes out of the frame, gets flipped upside down then the bottom half of the engine casing gets removed to gain access to the gears, shift drum and shift forks. Your bike has three shift forks, replace them all. Contact a Kawasaki dealer for confirmation of my diagnosis and to see what the estimated cost will be. I would guess it to be around $1500. Below is a generic diagram of how the forks move left and right to shift between gears. Please, rate my answer. Thanks.

2002 Suburban: is changing a fuel pump on a 02 suburban something...

It can be done, but if you are a beginner and not alot of tools, and a jack and jackstands, I would say no. The tank is rather big, and with gas in it, it's a bit rough to remove. You might seek out a helper with some mechanic experience.

Whats involded in replacing timing belt

Replacing the belt, belt tensioner and waterpump (recommended). about 130.00 in parts, some special tools patience and time. NOT for a Beginner. If put together wrong major damage will result. If belt failed while driving major damage has resulted.

I need to change the timing belt on my 93 940 volvo

This is definitely not ajob for the beginner. The cams will need to be locked down with a special tool. If they move at all, your timing will be way out and you will have some serious trouble on your hands. Either take it to a dealer or a shop that works on Volvo. Most shops will turn down a timing belt job on a Volvo. When replacing the timing belt, you also need to replace the water pump, front crank seal, both cam seals, and im not 100% sure but I think the 940 has a balance shaft belt that will need to be replaced. I may be wrong about the balance shaft belt. The total cost of this job will be from 800.00 to 950.00 depending on the shop

How do I replace a water pump on a 1995 honda civic ? What tools do I need and how difficult is it ?

this is a very hard procudure since you would need to disasemble the entire front of the engine, timing belt and all to remove the water pump. and if the belt is not put back together properly you can actually cause terminal engine failure
