My Philips DVP5140 DVD PLAYER worked perfectly

My Philips DVP5140 DVD PLAYER worked perfectly before last night. Not only would it play anything I put in it, but it was fabulous. Out of NOWHERE, it stopped reading discs. No matter was cd or dvd I put in it, it tries to read it and then says "NO DISC". Movies and music are a necessity in my life. HELP.

Clean the lazer with compressed air. (Not to high pressure) Failing that replace the lazer mech. This model normally uses the Sony KSM 310 type.
